The 15 Best Bora Bora Tours & Lagoon Trips

95 reviewed

Almost every Bora Bora booking is a version of the same day: out from Vaitape, a stop where the blacktips and stingrays gather, a coral garden, lunch on a motu. What changes is the boat, the group size, the hours in the water and the price, and that is what this page sorts out. Start at the top; it is there for a reason.

“Tour was great. The weather was not the best, water was choppy. Manu and Moana were great hosts and we ended up being able to see everything even if the stingrays stops were choppy and not as clear. 100% would recommend. I would recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear if you have it. I will not dock them for not having the best snorkeling gear since they provide for everyone. But I do feel the experience would have been better had I brought better gear. Manu was willing to record some underwear video for me when I was struggling without any floatation devices. Family dinner was good! Not best tasting…”

They were so fun, hilarious, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to find the best fish. they also made us souverniers out of palm fronds and cracked coconuts for us! The lunch we had at the picnic was probably my favorite meal of our whole trip. LOVED!!”

“We took two different island tours during our day in Bora Bora, and this by far was the most adventuresome and had the best opportunities for spectacular views. The tour did not start off well since there wasn’t anyone to formally meet us with a sign with our names so there was a lot of confusion at the beginning.”

“Special shoutout to our guide H, who made this tour our favorite excursion during our honeymoon week in Bora Bora! We made two reservations so we each had our own jet ski. It was my first time and my husband’s third time jet skiing, and we both had an incredible time. It’s the best jet ski experience he’s ever had because we were allowed out in the open lagoon and went all the way around the island (as opposed to other experiences where you are penned into a small area). The jet skis were fast but safe, and both the views and the thrill were so worth it! H did…”
